The Unruly Mystic Film Series

About the Filmmaker

Michael M. Conti is a Boulder, Colorado filmmaker, educator, and media producer with nearly four decades of experience — from Hollywood productions to Fortune 500 product development to independent documentary filmmaking. A native Coloradan shaped by both the Rocky Mountain landscape and an academic family environment, Conti developed a lifelong interest in the intersection of science, spirituality, nature, and storytelling.

Each generation finds its voice by rediscovering past teachers, mystics, geniuses, misfits, rebels, and troublemakers. The films are Conti’s gifts to remind us of the unruly mystics who stood strong and were brave, open, and eternally wide awake — as their messages inspire and challenge today’s status quo.
